Art Basel and the wider Art Week

Art Basel confirms Miami Beach public dates of December 4–6, 2026. The fair is at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Other events during Miami Art Week are separate visits: check their own dates, venues and entry conditions before including them.

Build a short list of the events you actually want to attend. Group it by location before booking rooms or dinner, and leave time between timed visits.

Choose a base for the journey you will repeat

For repeated convention-center visits, compare Miami Beach addresses by their actual route to the entrance. Being on Miami Beach does not automatically make a hotel walkable to the fair. Check that distance and the return journey before booking.

Brickell can suit a stay led by downtown plans; Wynwood can suit a programme centred on that district. Both require a separate journey to the Miami Beach fair. Compare the time and cost of those trips with the accommodation options for your dates, rather than assuming the mainland is always cheaper.

Tickets, arrival and the last journey home

Check current ticket availability and terms with Art Basel. Confirm the date and entry conditions before purchasing; a ticket to this fair does not establish admission to another Art Week event. This guide does not verify current ticket stock or promise a discount.

Map your first venue, the accommodation and your final evening stop. Allow a buffer for a trip across the bay and check current transport guidance close to travel. If driving, establish parking arrangements with the venue or property; do not assume hotel parking covers the convention center.

Meals, companions and a manageable day

Choose a meal near the part of the city where you expect to finish, with enough time after your visit. A single main fair and a nearby evening plan is a useful starting point before adding more timed commitments.

If someone in the group is skipping the fair, agree on a meeting point and a separate daytime plan. Ask the venue about access needs and the property about baggage storage before combining a final fair visit with your departure.
